Our History

BAM was conceived by prominent members of the Bangladeshi community residing in Mississauga and was officially established on [date]. Since its inception, the organization has gained significant support from community members. Through continuous efforts, the organizers have successfully hosted a series of events to introduce BAM to an expanding number of individuals within the Bangladeshi community of Mississauga.

Our Mission

BAM aims to strengthen connections among community members and promote unity. Our primary goal is to assist new immigrants in adjusting to their new home country by providing support like finding rental accommodations, employment opportunities, and help with paperwork. We also offer volunteer services for funeral arrangements, matchmaking events, seasonal cleanup projects, and more. We plan to expand our efforts to reach communities beyond our own.

Our future plan includes allowing students to participate in specific community events, this will allow the high school students to gather volunteer hours. We also have plans to team up with corporate entities to organize volunteer events within or outside of the Bangladeshi community.
